Socioeconomic Impacts of University–Industry Collaborations–A Systematic Review and Conceptual Model

University–industry collaborations create socioeconomic impacts for the areas where they are undertaken. Although these have recognized importance and a high potential to generate economic social benefits, there is no consensus in literature on consolidated conceptual model assessing their impacts. Given this scenario, study reviews 94 studies impact of university–industry using context–intervention–mechanism–outcomes configuration. The identified systematic review classified into: (1) economic, (2) social, (3) financial. also indicates that can change context enhance mechanisms technology transfer. From theoretical viewpoint, work contributes structuring collaborations.
